news Just in from tomorrow: MSFT will be bought out by Mr. Larry Ellison for $2000 per share. My suggestion would be to buy at the open. The only downside will be that you will now be forced to own a small percentage of ATHM.

6-2-00: Rogers Cable Network Upgrade Entering Final Stage

Rogers Cable Inc. is pleased to announce that work on its $7.5 million network upgrade in Woodstock, Ontario, Canada is on schedule and expected to be completed by this fall. The upgraded network will provide residents of Woodstock with the latest technology in both digital cable and high speed Internet access.

Speaking in Woodstock, John Tory, President and Chief Executive Officer, Rogers Cable Inc., said, "We'd like to thank Mayor Geoghegan and the staff of the City of Woodstock who have been working closely with us to minimize the disruption to residents, as we go about our network rebuild." He added, "This upgrade is a sign of our commitment to Woodstock and once completed, will introduce a number of new digital products and, most importantly, bring, for the first time, high speed Internet access to the residents of Woodstock."
