Fine, seems to be enough business for both, and AMD will help keep the DOJ off Intel's back when Microsoft is done pounding their sorry arses into the ground (just felt like saying that!).

What makes you think they(AMD) will be more successful in grabbing market share from INTC when times get tough than now? Seems to me that if they are to succeed, it's now or never. INTC has cash to help it through any downturn....AMD does not, let alone the resources to fight a giant(with price cuts no less since the consumer will once again be in the driver's seat) and stop the hemmoraging? Your statement that they can is illogical, no offense intended.
