If it splits, it will probably ascend faster! I would be surprised, if it didn't split during this semi up cycle, since this is one of the best cycles ALSC has ever been in, due to UMC, BRCM, Orologic etc. The catalyst might be a SRAM shortage that typically drives up stocks like ISSI and ALSC. I hope we see some sort of shortage(Intel has been complaining of parts shortage!). Remember - LSI Chairman said recently that driven by the internet we are entering a ten year golden age of the semis. Even if that is half true, ALSC should see at least a couple of splits! So far, I have been happy with ALSC and hope to ride it to the mid thirties at the least!
