Hi all; Register publishes a list of board makers for three

theregister.co.uk

This is just the desktop/workstation market, the i840 isn't
included. But it is of interest to see what kind volume product
development is going into RDRAM.

Out of the 73 motherboards, 17 support RDRAM, or 23%. Intel
has something less than 50% of the market for Intel compatible
chipsets, and no other company is making (or is even seriously
rumored to be planning) an RDRAM desktop chipset. So something
like 11% of Intel's desktop motherboard types will likely be
RDRAM compatible. (This is not to say that 11% of Intel's
desktop machines will go out with RDRAM. It could be more, it
could be less, depending on production amounts.) In any case,
this vividly illustrates the interest of the motherboard community
in alternatives to RDRAM memory.
