Catlady - I think your dates are about right, but I hold the opinion that browsemaster/classic issues do not greatly affect posting volume. Notice what happened to posting during the Asian crisis downturn.

Not sure that SI is a leading indicator, but I do think it correlates somehow with market sentiment.
