those GATA scenarios are pretty darn scary -ng- last year we added up the market capitalization of all of the Gold companies in North America. The combined market cap of every company traded in the US was 30 Billion dollars. If you divide that by the 12 trillion of Global equity capitalization I think it works out to 12,000 / 30 or .0025 . this highlights how important perception is in any market place. When perceptions change, we'll see a bigger change than we expect. If you looked at that ratio over the past 100 years it would have a very dynamic range. Btw I have not loaded the boat for any type of big gold move but it's helpful to be cognizant to the ever changing world around us. John
