DH - In the near term, Qualcomm appears to be shut out. Thats from a Reuters article off the news link below today. quoting Cabi. DH when will the US learn...what a surprise about Unicom? Nice people to do business with. Their agreement lasts ten seconds. Who are the underwriters who wouold do business with these people? US underwriters surely will not stand behind this IPO. You can't blame the Europeans. They do business in their own time honoured fashion. The blame lies fairly and squarely in the US. Why is GSM allowed in the US? Why is NOK or ERICY allowed to trade in the US as long as US company(ies) are excluded from Europe? The China PNTR and WTO should now be halted by the Senate. They have the power. If they don't do it after the exhibition of treachery we have just seen then we will know who to blame. Best regards, L
