More Canadian PGMers.- Pure Gold, Eastfield in platinum-palladium deal Toronto--Jun 6--Canada's Pure Gold Minerals Inc. on Tuesday said it has agreed to a joint venture with Eastfield Resources Ltd to explore and develop the Iron Lake platinum-palladium project in British Columbia. Pure Gold may earn a 60% interest in the property by making cash payments of C$200,000 and $2 million in exploration expenditures over four years. (Story .16419) Ursa Major, Falconbridge in metals deal Toronto--Jun 6--Canada's Ursa Major Minerals Inc. on Tuesday said it has agreed with Falconbridge to option the Shakespeare nickel-copper-platinum group metal deposit in northern Ontario. Falconbridge estimates the deposit contains an inferred resource of 1.9 million tonnes, grading 0.36% nickel, 0.42% copper, 0.44 g/t palladium, 0.40 g/t platinum and 0.22 g/t gold.
