LOUD in the News Today Streaming Media Alliance Will Become Global Voice of Internet Broadcasting; Will Organize June 12 in NY During Streaming Media East NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 6, 2000--A global 'Committee of 100' streaming media founding members will oversee the official debut of the non-profit Streaming Media Alliance, Inc., Monday, June 12, at 6 p.m. in the Penthouse East Suite on the 45th and 46th floors of the New York Hilton Hotel, it was announced today. Then, at 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., on June 13, the organization's Task Force on Capital Growth will sponsor the 1st annual Streaming Media Sector Analyst Forum featuring a keynote by streaming media expert Seamus McAteer, Director, Web Technologies, Jupiter Communications (NASDAQ: JPTR - news), jup.com, leading sector professionals, and presentations by On2.com, Inc. (AMEX: ONT - news), Loudeye Technologies (NASDAQ: LOUD - news), OptiBase Ltd. (NASDAQ: OBAS - news), Streamedia Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ: SMIL - news), Visual Data Corp. (NASDAQ: VDAT - news) and Network Appliance, Inc. (NASDAQ: NTAP - news). The June 13 investment forum will be broadcast live at investorbroadcast.com and investrend.com.
