sure, the EU budget can't be compared to the national budgets. in any case, the bureaucratic many-tentacled nepotist monster residing in Brussels deserves all the negative press it gets. so let's not be fair...<G>

Now I know it's a far reach to claim the subsidies create 'better product', but the fact remains the food supply is better there IMO, although good fresh locally grown produce is starting to sprout up in the U.S. DAK
