of course not. remember a rise in inflation is bullish, as it implies that inflation may rise less strongly in the future. <g>

i'm sure the falling dollar is bullish as well...haven't quite figured out why yet.

we need Kudlow to explain it to us.

People still are not convinced that this dollar weakness will last. Until they are the impact on stocks will be minimal.

I suspect the main reason why the gold stocks are lagging is the conviction by some that this rally mainly reflects short covering. In the past short covering rallies in POG have collapsed when the shorts were finished covering. We need new investment demand for a sustained rally. Short covering simply is not enough.
