<<I held Impala Platinum all during the years it was politically incorrect to invest in RSA. I bought Morton Thiokal shortly after the space shuttle blew up, and one of my best investments was Exxon right after the Valdez spill. I missed Union Carbide after Bhopal (sp??) >>

Geez, I don't feel so bad for buying Value-Jet - right after the crash.....

I must be the ultimate vulture investor.

hehe, as long as you made money.

In the time of Bre-x crash while the SI boards were a rocking and a running. I bought short term put's on the Bank of Montreal {T.BMO} Seems the Head Trader had 3-5 Million shares of Bre-x long at $17+. For a $0.10 per contract, I made $2.40 at expiration weeks later. Only regret:"Wish I had made more."

PS: Glad to see PDG up ahead of the XAU. Still the BEST gold play going for you longs.
