I did a 1/3 purchase of some funds that are laying around and I will buy some more. I would love to see these short term instruments go to the moon. As long as I have this US "junk" coming due often I use it for assets against my option credit spreads.

7.49%; 3.60 base rate plus 3.82% inflation adjustment.

3 mth penalty if cashed before 5 years, must hold at least 6 mths. You can do better with 12-18 mth cd's, unless the tax favored status of the IBond income helps you.
