I lucked into it. Living near SF I've had lots of opportunities to see the stuff. I love it. I think some of the old Dead posters are my favorites, but there are so many, and they are all so wonderful, it's hard to choose.

Have you ever seen tramp art? That's neat stuff- that was originally just functional (chip carved from cigar boxes, usually) but it's considered folks art now. Victorian pyrography is another area that was one just a hobby and is now considered art, and old needlepoints have been considerable elevated also, and quilts, and...boy, lots of stuff.
