A couple of ways to get the wrong stuff out of the tank:

1. Turn it over sideways to tip the kerosine out of the fill cap. This is the riskiest way because you have to be sure that the cylinder head or the carburetor is not on the lowest side. If they are, you can have crankcase oil leak internally into either one of them and that's not good.

2. The simplest but slowest way is if your carburetor has a fuel bowl or bowl drain plug, to remove the fuel bowl or plug and let everything drain on thru.

3. If it's like some Briggs engines and doesn't have a bowl, find the fuel hose connection into the carb and undo it.

After it's all drained real good, the new gasoline will dilute any drops kero left.

Good luck but WTF are you doing w/ kerosine. I haven't had to buy any of that for 25 years now. <vbg>
