Not sure Michael, I think there may be a couple forces at work here. Fedheads talking tough again, clearly trying to control the market IMO, and the analyst this morning. My broker felt the latter was significant, but wasn't clear on the brokerage, thought it may have been DLJ. I think it was you that hit the nail on the head awhile back...ALA is too diversified within telecommunications equipment for any single analyst<g>.

FWIW, I sold both positions of ALA JUNE 40 calls a few minutes ago at 19 1/8. If they were July or further out I would have had second thoughts, but my original target to close these out had been 60. Don't want to push my luck just in case the market decides to make another run down. I see 55, to low 50's worst case and 65 or so best short term. Of course, it's now looking like I sold at the low of the day<g>. I have a funny knack for feeling the market turn and get my orders in promptly, just to miss my target and lose another point trying to get the order to fill<g>. Oh well, I'm happy.

I will not sell my stock...this is a long term hold for me. I'll initiate new options positions for Dec or Jan at 55 or so if it were to go there.

regards,
