Re: Semis showing some late day weakness. AMD holding up better than most

Jim,

More than just semis weakening. It looks like we just got a head fake that the market was going down fast. The end of the day scares me on days like this. Personally, I'd rather have AMD up a fraction while the stocks (not companies) that lack fundamentals such as CSCO, ORCL, SUNW, etc all stay down. I think the worst thing for the markets now would be for the Naz to get back over 4000. We need to hover at this range for a while, or else I believe we'll crash again after a big rally if it comes too quick.

PS- There's nothing worse than trading up $2-3 all day only to go negative 40 minutes before the close. RTQ- 91 1/4, -1/4 :-(

Hi Jim:

Re: "Semis showing some late day weakness. AMD holding up better than most..."

Comment: Still 35 minutes to go...Isn't the last 30 minutes often the most exciting? I'm still looking for that close above $93...We've pierced it a couple of times but haven't so far shown the ...Maybe next time is the time it keeps right on going to triple digits!
