I TOLD you we should have let Desdemona live. If you hadn't insisted on her bleeding to death, we could have passed it off as buffa and spun it off as a sitcom. BUt oh, no, you HAD to "preserve your artistic integrity". "Desdemona live?!" you gasped, cleverly adding,"Tu di me ti fai gioco!" Although I do think having Dr. O. strangle her with the catheter tube was a stroke of genius. And when it broke and the audience gagged, tutti con brio, that was just overwhelming.
