Scott, in the same vein, here's a study looking at the change in productivity at the four largest cap companies over the last four years...it finds that real productivity growth at three of them is in fact negative, using the companies' annual reports as the basis for the calculations (the very firms whose products supposedly increase our productivity by so much, can't seem to get their own act together, LOL!) of course these are 'real' , not hedonic numbers. csf.colorado.edu
