(2) Net Services (directory based apps)

Probably could be sold to SUNW and AOL (much like NSCP was)

(3) Internet Operating system

I like your candidates.

Maybe also hot start ups with high multiples: INKT..

Time Frame: August

Alternative: Company surprises the analysts with unexpected revenue gains in Q3.

I think it is safe to say that there are NO alternatives here.

<<"Value of above --- $50 a share in stock.">> That may be very true. There will be no fast price recovery here even with a good couple qtrs and the next couple qtrs are not expected to be much. About the only chance of a recovery is a buyout! Looking at $25 - $30 this year beats wating many years to POSSIBLY get to that level or just bailing at a loss to off set this years gains. Other than a few 'true believers' I've heard no one wants to gamble on anything great coming from them for a long time. With competition coming from every angle they still have the customer list of choice for now. There performance indicates the products and customer base would be much more valuable in the hands of mgmt that knows what to do with such assets. Yes-- I hope they sell even in the 20s as holding will not get us there by tax selling season... JMO

Paul:

I'm not sure just how inertia starts, or how you overcome it, but in trying to do my part I am throwing our 22.5K shares into the pot.

Quite clearly the best shareholder value is to let the great technologies of NOVL have breathing space. Separate and focused.

What can we do to move the process along?
