this looks like a buying opp. to me...shareholders should be delighted that they decided not to throw money (borrowed money at that) away in obscure 'Asian e-commerce' ventures.

Ah yes,..... the fun of deal-making.

I've been watching the behind-the-scenes activity with a great deal of interest on this one. I like GSL, primarily because they have an immense gold deposit, but also thought there might be some upside fun in the Chinese play.

The deal was killed by Greystar management, due to serious unhappiness with the new debt holders. I don't have all the details so I'll reserve judgement until I get them, but at the moment, I think management did the right thing.
