I was just at the Fools site and was going to post the story but you beat me to it!

It's a great story. It sure sums up why Cisco is doing so well cash flow wise!

That is a good article from the Fool. Unusual to see such rational fundamental analysis from them.

And it also explains why, in the end, even though I think Cisco is overvalued, I wouldn't short the stock. (If it really was the house of cards the ardent bears think it is, the cash flow wouldn't be there.)

The article also explains why, even though I think that there are some hidden assets in Lucent that could be better utilized, why I don't want to own Lucent. If they could ever find somebody in management that was willing to work on the efficiency of the company, there really might be a lot more value there than anybody thinks.
