Well, I dunno. The productivity thing may be overstated...but the post doesn't clarify that for me. It seems to over simplify things. For example, Countywide Credit has been able to process nearly twice as many applications and loan documents than it did a couple years ago at a price LOWER than the original cost. This was a direct result of their increase use of technology (data collection/phone answering help lines/etc.). Consequently they have kept their employees to handle all the extra work and contributed to the productivity gains of the nation overall. I am sure this is being repeated in corporations across the country. <H>
