Nortel was on CNBC yesterday and said business is still booming and there is no problem with production AND DELIVERY. Perhaps Nortel is spreading their orders so they don't have to rely on one source and not fall behind with their orders. Maybe AMCC is overloaded with production. Should get some clarification. Fibre Optic GROWTH IS EXPLODING.. SDL, Inc. (NASDAQ: SDLI) a provider of solutions for optical communications and related markets, completes acquisition of Photonic integration research. Management believes rapidly accelerating demand for products combined with acquisition will drive profits higher. Explosive growth of optical networks should benefit peer group firms including Applied Micro Circuits (NASDAQ: AMCC).
