Actually, I don't find them sick. Challenging and unsettling, yes, but not sick nor even, as Jesse Helms claimed, pornographic. They are not sick; they are a different aspect of human sexuality from the mainstream conveyed in a way that makes us aware of their existence as having an equal claim on our attention.

I find some of the flower pictures even more at the edge of sexuality than "Rosie" or "Polyester Suit."
