It is great to see the technology advance. My wife was head of a research lab in the mid 70's doing the same work with transplanting islets into the pancreas to produce insulin. At that time they could only use people in end stage condition for the transplant and with the technological limits of the 70's. After many years it was stopped with out success. The next decades should see more wonderful advances in medicine.
