Carranza - I suppose one would have to be a patent lawyer to determine with any certainty what the meaning of wide is, at least in the context of the patent.

Wouldn't help. It is dependent on industry standard usage (how would one knowledgable in the art interpret it), and in that context it is a relative term. Result: Qualcomm's patents are not bandwidth limited, although apparently it is true that IDC only licensed their patents to Q! for bandwidths less than or equal to 10MHz.
