Could this be a management thing since new home sales through April are still running 3% higher than the same period last year? Have we gotten earnings warnings from MYG or Whirlpool or GE?
Through April of this year, there were 330,000 houses sold compared with 319,000 sold during the same period last year. This is an increase of 3 (+/-4) percent.

And from what level? Maybe this will alleviate the pressures on the industries which do not hedge currency exchange rates, such as MMM? Either we hear from the industries who hedge complaining about the weak Euro or we hear from the industries who don't such as MMM. Old story.
