Anthony @ Pacific also kept asking him if he was front-running his own calls. as far as i know no satisfactory answer has been forthcoming to date (admittedly i haven't looked over the last week or so).

here's for something completely different:

csf.colorado.edu

Physicists Anders Johansen and Didier Sornette have papers at
alf.nbi.dk
in which they apply the principles of physics to various financial
markets. They maintain that any speculative bubble can end in a sudden
large crash after the fulfillment of certain precursory log periodic
oscillations predicted by fitting their equation to the behavior of the
relevant market's index over the years of the bubble. The crash itself
is actually an outlier where an ordinarily chaotic market suddenly
becomes orderly in the sense that all participants try to do the same
thing at the same time (i.e. sell)
ROFLMAO!
