This is possible, but unlikely. I am not aware of WRS using this sale strategy in any of its potentially high volume markets. In releasing the royalty percentage, the management is confident that it can increase this number. I would be surprised if this number isn't drastically different two years from now.

Moving to a different subject, it was released in the CC that TiVo has become a new licensee. This is significant, because TiVo has an in-house Linux. We also knew that Liberate was suppose to port its client software onto TiVo's Linux. So why did TiVo choose WRS? This is worth investigating into, and most likely will shed some light on how effectively pSOS/VxWorks competes against embedded Linux.
