Could be, but no matter what the motivation is he only did it because he cares so much about the little guy. After all, most little people would rather live with poop smell infesting their home as long as they can be near "King Albert". I imagine slum Lords across the country use the same line. "I didn't know" about the conditions in the home. "I didn't know about the complaints and then eviction". If this is indicative of the kind of management talent we can expect Al Gore to hire in the coming administration. (then accept no responsibility for their incompetence) We are indeed headed down a sad path for the country. Leadership by obfuscation. It's become the hallmark of the Clinton/Gore administration.
