Gore asked Junior-George to join him in a pledge to abstain from soft money. Jr. refused

You are wrong, as usual.

The spots could open Mr. Gore to criticism that he is breaking a vow, taken after he had sewed up the Democratic primary in March, to forgo "soft money" TV ads as long as the Republican candidate, Texas Gov. George W. Bush, abstained as well.

Bush hasn't used soft money ads so AlGore the Junior broke the pledge. Of course, AlGore still maintains that he was always pro-abortion too.

Wrong again. Gore said he would not use such ads first. He is using them first.
