Thanks - but I can't claim to have that much vision.

Sometimes, people have to be hit over the head before
they understand what it was that just hit them.

In my case, I've seen the technology in use....and from
what I have seen, it's pretty easy to imagine what's
coming next.

I've been involved with the design and implementation
of internet software for about 13 years. The company
at which I work, has had electronic mail running for
around 20 years.

Yet, when WWW first hit, most of us thought it was little
more than a toy. And the reason that's the case, is because
we had been concentrating on business solutions - issues concerning remote file access.

I can see this train coming, though. And I think that
like the WWW, the biggest appeal will be from the
entertainment angle. Imagine playing chess with somebody
in Japan on your way in to work. Just the start of
what's coming.
