Again- I have to disagree. My husband is president of a company with thousands of employees. He is an excellent manager of people. Still subcontractors fail, and when this is brought to his attention, he fixes it. He can do no more than that.
I am not defending Gore as a presidential candidate (I think you know me better than that!) but I am defending what seems to me to be an attack based on assumption.
As for attacking Bush- I live in Dallas!!! We don't attack our homie.

Again what is your point? The media has picked this up on Gore.

You know not everything is a big media conspiracy. News is business, much more than it is ideology. (Unless of course you are reading Newsmax.)

Michael, issues are like football games. The final score is rarely 12 or 20 or 24 to nothing. Both teams score. Both teams make mistakes. The winning quarterback usually has at least one interception. Do you say that he lacks leadership?

I'll bet that Rambi can watch a Cowboys/Redskins game and occasionally acknowledge a really good play by the Skins, even while rooting for the Boys. Doing so doesn't make her a Redskins fan, it makes her objective.

P.S. And, yes, I think if Dubya were the slum lord the coverage would have been pretty much the same.
