That is likely true, and one of the problems with the cant about money in politics. With over 95% of incumbents returned to Congress, and some gone by choice, the challenger has a terrible disadvantage. If he wants to spend his money on campaigning, well, that is freedom of speech. If he is Mark Green, he might get Cora Weiss to bankroll him, and that is their business. Maybe I will go for campaign finance reform if they ever take Buckley's suggestion and take away the franchise from everyone on the dole. I would include patronage appointments..........
