I am not sure what the premise of your post is as it relates to Rambi Sorry I neglected to copy the text of your post instead of just responding to it with my football analogy. Here it is: Being a leader requires you to demonstrate certain skills of leadership and management. Hiring competent or incompetent people to run your affairs reflects on your leadership ability. Being the President of the United States is a leadership position. If nothing else, the issue reflects on Gore's leadership abilities and is therefore newsworthy. For future reference, you'll find that if you click on the post number in "To: Michael D. Cummings who wrote (7056)" you will find a link to the text of the message being answered. but I think your bias prevents you from challenging the assumptions upon which your P.S. rests. Just which bias would that be? That mainstream newspapers are more or less fair and objective most of the time? That most people are more or less fair and objective?
