I still have to meet somebody who's REAL long in puts - lets say holding onto them for more than 2 weeks (g). OTH clear downtrends, I read about them in the "history of Middle ages" books. My personal record in puts is dismal. Calls is a different thing.

Reminds me of the real cause, that brought Columbus to America. Drive for unknown? Greed? Cunning and deep insight in trends and modern astronomy? No way Jose, it was the trade winds or whatever the english name. He could sit in a bathtub for what I care and still get there. So much for our part in getting good to excellent returns in a bull market.
BTW Millenium crash, ist that 1K or 2K millenium ;\.
