we will have cures for many diseases in our lifetime through genetic engineering. count on it. i'm hoping they can make me young again when i'm old and bent over.

I really agree with you and I think to understand
our economy, one has to factor in some of the concepts
of information accelerate that Futurists such as
Robert Anton Wilson talk about.

In 1976 Wilson, wrote in his book about a couple of
scientists who looked at the rate of acceleration in the
accumulation of knowledge and they did projects as to
how this would project in the future. There work is holding
up pretty well and they had a date back then of 2012 when
our society will have really had a quantum leap in
its information platform.
