Drifting OT- << fact...the usa has a very poor export record...>> Well, that is a rather one sided view of the problems of importing into "Fortress" Japan which conviently ignores the keiretsu and other barriers, but you are entitled to it. <<i'm a bit confused now, whose "rule of law" is absent, ours or theirs????>> Theirs. Theft of property, intellectual or otherwise, in places like the PRC and CIS goes unpunished and may even be state sanctioned. If they want to join the developed world they can begin by granting and enforcing property rights. Detecting bloatation, I will not say more on the topic.
