I hate to be so picky about this, but, just as corporations are composed of people, bureaucrats are people, too.

yes, but still... I have to write the check. Nothing compares to that.

My heart bleeds for the poor bureaucrat, but that is his work. for which he/she gets paid.

I, on the other hand, do not get paid for suffering the abuses of the tax hungry politicians, and their lieutenants, the executioners of the IRS. I PAY for the "privilege" to have the Internal [of my] Revenue Service[I cringe everytime I read "service"] who extract my money.

I will shed a tear for the poor bureaucrat, (just for you), but still, it does not compare to my suffering.
