Hey! Thank you. Those British are cut-ups. Well! Hmmm. I brought the UO into the house and was told to get it off the kitchen counter, where I was going to examine it, and now it's uhm around here somewhere. I'll check it out this evening if I get time. My dad knows a lot of this stuff, metals (primarily lead) were his field, but he couldn't tell what the thing was either. I bet besides my machiner friends, the brass casters I used to go to would have an idea. The heat-treaters had the neatest shops. Wow. Color photo-op. Lotsa acid and flames, though. And swearing. And naked women. Add color, and you get my kind of place.
