I've worked on acquisitions and dispositions of companies where there was set organizations and legal entities. Takes time and there is always upheaval. Judge and government seem to not care on this.

As for a plan in 4 months any plan has to be able to be changed since Murphy's law always comes into play.

MSFT should just freeze WINDOWs and set up a new company for business only and give the judge a copy of ATLAS SHRUGGED.

As much as I agree MSFT broke the law the punishment doesn't fit the crime. JMO of course.

I'm angry over how angry the judge seemed. No need for that. Seems to me he had strong feelings before the evidence was presented. Maybe a benefit in the appeals process.

The good news is that the bad news is all out. What can happen to make things worse? Will all the employees come down with gonnoreah? Will Mount Ranier explode? Will a new volcano form just west of Lake Sammamish? Will Larry Ellison moon Gates in his next TV commercial?
