I've worked on acquisitions and dispositions of companies where there was set organizations and legal entities. Takes time and there is always upheaval. Judge and government seem to not care on this. As for a plan in 4 months any plan has to be able to be changed since Murphy's law always comes into play. MSFT should just freeze WINDOWs and set up a new company for business only and give the judge a copy of ATLAS SHRUGGED. As much as I agree MSFT broke the law the punishment doesn't fit the crime. JMO of course.
