If I read correctly, Jenna turned a 180 and went short GMST the very same day. FWIW

Back to the Future of GMST.

A good friend just returned from a national cable TV advertising convention/conference and gave me some food for thought.

1. Saw the TV guide reps, they were excited about merger (his word not mine) and felt that new co would make piles of cash.

2. Cable TV industry wants to have i -net ready set-top boxes in 50% of the cable homes by 2005. This box would include a cable modem and browser for surfing the web. The cable co would then control the converged appliance.

How does this jive with how Henry sees the future?

My friend in the cable bizz sees GMST as a niche player that will have many many competitors. This contradicts my limited understanding of GMST's IPR.

Thanks in advance,
Drew
