Haim..

My theory has been that AOL has been behind this gut-out of MSFT (and the market with it).. AOL paid off the Dems, Bill paid off the Reps.. This pathetic decision will never hold over in the Bush Administration during appeal, IMO..

Haim, it was purported at one time that MSFT was interested in having its stock price decline. It was felt that as it was such a widely held stock, investors would blame the justice department and put the blame/pressure on them to settle.

It will be interesting to see what happens now. I doubt the threat of staff losses is real as they issued some additional stock options at a lower price recently ...
hmmm ... thinking about it ... maybe MSFT is a buy ... at least for now !!.
