Scumbria and Joe, I would also prefer Xbox. But PS2 will be first to market. It's compelling, game player, DVD player and Internet. Software will have a one year head start on MSFT. Sony has said that it will be an "open system". And Sony is an expert in marketing consumer electronics, Microsoft is not. IMHO, PS2 will be a serious challenge to retail PC sales this Christmas season, and beyond. The consumer has limited discretionary dollars, what will he buy, a PC to cruise the Internet, a DVD, a game player, or all three in one? John
