look no further then hughes and loral....technology was offered in hopes of future profits....

if proprietary technology is well protected and not "offered" as a license to an entity that may abuse the license, then it remains intact.

if something is in the public domain, such as cd's, software, videos, it can be taken and copied...

have your parents interacted with any of the politburo agencies in the prc in any trade efforts?

i'm not defending theft of ipr, i'm just stating the reality of same, and the need for protection....is this not what qcom is attempting? if the answer is in the affirmative then perhaps we agree?
