As you may or may not know (probably the latter), Intel already spilled some of the beans on the upcoming 870 chipset for McKinley and Foster-based servers. Among its features is the ability to support either RDRAM or DDR SDRAM.

So that's at least one DDR chipset that is being developed inside Intel.
