I do, I confess, tend to look at Bush as the greater of two evils; simply because foreign policy has an unusually high weighting in my calculation.

Well, that's a pleasant thought to wake up to. Here I thought all I had to be afraid of on the Bush side were the fundamentalists (big time scary) and the militias. Now you give me warmongers, as well. Geez.

On the Gore side, the commies are toast, the socialists are passe, the unions get only lip service (although that bears watching), and the group rights folks are more quaint than fearsome.

I hadn't really given any though to foreign policy. Both sides keep getting us into these pesky mini-wars, both sides are for free trade, and both sides know which fork to use. Foreign policy seemed like a draw to me. Sigh!
