Mike, Do you just sit next to your computer 24 hours a day hoping to jump on people and say negative things? You probably wouldn't be happy if they hung you with a new rope.

Mike, you are too funny to let go...you are not trying to say that ol' man Sam Walton started up since day one with a Wal Mart in every city ? Nor are you trying to say that Bill Gates started with his OS in every PC... are you ???
You are also not trying to tell us that United, Northwest and so on started flying 747-400s since day one are you ???

Mike, can you give me numbers on MSFT for Windows 1.0(no revenues here) or for Windows 2.0 (or here)or even Windows 3.0(now we are starting to get close to maybe making money)?
Engineering isn't cheap. And in many ways what PNLK is doing is much toughter then writing an operating system.

Does anyone know of anyone who ever paid a dime for either Windows OS 1.0 or 2.0? Gates made it happen even though it was NOT the best product. What Gates did have was a great business sense and the connections.

(P)ioneering(N)etworks(L)inking(K)ingdoms!!!!!!........

With what PNLK has accomplished so far on a shoe string has to have cash partners lining up wanting to take part. Most the pieces are in place to rev it up. PNLK's business model is really a prototype waiting for the cash and the right opportunities to grow into a truly global business. I would think it could almost be a franchisable opportunity.

Ambitious to compare the start of one company with another, with spankin brnad new concepts, no, I don't so! And since you used the comparison of mom&pop to Walmart, I think if you compare the start of each Microsoft would be the mom&pop.
