AS, it's certainly possible that this move retraces more of the territory that was lost. but if bear capitulation is your criterion for determining where the next top will be, that has already happened...among WS strategists ex Barton Biggs, who is a perma bear, there was only ONE bear (Charles Blood) and one 'cautious' bull (Byron Wien). both have thrown the towel. the sentiment indicators are of course not exact timing devices. but the red flag is being waved, is all i'm saying.

the dollar meanwhile is merrily collapsing...

btw, i like LOR very much as a long term play. hopefully they will cut down on their GSTRF commitments....that nonsense could still drag them down if they continue to throw good money after bad. but i think the big thing in the NEXT mania will be space-related stocks...
